To achieve even better results, always stop eating before being full, as the full sensation actually comes about 30 minutes after your stop eating.
2. Rewire your cravings
Cravings are not bad, and you don’t need to be in a constant battle with your carvings in order to lose weight. All you have to do is understand what the cravings mean, and how to satisfy them in a healthy manner. A craving is basically your body’s ways of telling you that it needs something to work better. If you are craving sweets, your body probably needs sugar and carbs, so it will make you crave the foods where it usually gets these things. But your body will be even more satisfied if you give it some fruit. It will take some getting used to this, but once you rewire your cravings, you will have an easier time giving up unhealthy food.
3. Drink Oolong tea
A weight loss study performed in China in 2009 showed that drinking Oolong tea each day can help you lose weight and decrease your body’s fat percentage. Oolong tea contains caffeine, which stimulates the metabolism, and it also contains polyphenols. Usually as you lose weight, your metabolic rate decreases, meaning that the more weight you lose, the harder it gets to burn fat. This is where polyphenols come into play, as these magic compounds can prevent your metabolism from slowing down during a weight loss process.
4. Find a fun way to exercise
Exercising is not a nurture. In fact, once you get used to it, it becomes a very fun activity which makes you happier and more energetic. However, you don’t need to force yourself to do something that you don’t like, as there are many fun ways to work out. You can practice a sport that you like such as swimming or tennis. You can join some dance classes or some self-defense classes. You can buy a bike or some roller skates and roll your way to work. The possibilities are endless.
